Care instructions
To keep the rug looking beautiful for as long as possible, it should be vacuumed at least once a week.
In case of fresh stains:
First, check the washing instructions on the label.
Address the stain immediately, as it may otherwise soak into the rug permanently.
Carefully blot the spilled liquid with a clean cloth, and collect any solids with a spoon.
Place a clean cotton cloth (preferably white) over the liquid for a few minutes and allow it to absorb.
Always start cleaning from the edge of the stain/spill and continue towards its center.
Be careful! Excessive rubbing may damage, felt, or discolor the material.
It is best to use a professional detergent (we recommend: cleaning agents).
If necessary, repeat the above steps starting from point 2.
The cleaned area can be dried using a fan or a hairdryer on a low setting.
For the final effect, gently brush with a clothing brush in the direction of the pile.
If your rug requires a complete refresh, we strongly suggest having it cleaned by a company specializing in rug cleaning.
Remember to inform the cleaner about the material your rug is made of.
Wool and cotton rugs, woven flat – do not like being completely soaked. The former should be dried properly.
