Fabric: Structural fabric (Wind 75)
The Wind upholstery fabric is an exceptional material with a smooth surface and ambiguous, multi-tonal coloring. Its texture resembles a very fine canvas weave, yet the material feels velvety to the touch, akin to silky velvet. It is covered with a delicate nap, making it pleasant and soft. At the same time, this nap creates an uneven color pattern that changes with the direction of the fibers and the angle of light. This type of shading is a natural phenomenon resulting from the production technology.
The matte surface of the material presents an elegant and modern appearance while also providing an exceptionally cozy impression. The fabric is durable for everyday use and resistant to abrasion (Martindale test: 40,000 cycles), allowing for worry-free cleaning.
Care:
Regular cleaning is recommended every 1–2 weeks using a soft brush or sponge, gently and always in one direction. Regular brushing removes dust, lifts the pile, and reduces the "sitting" effect in the most frequently used areas. Once or twice a year, the upholstery can be refreshed more thoroughly with a solution of lukewarm water and neutral detergent, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth and allowing it to air dry naturally.
In case of staining, it is essential to blot the liquid as soon as possible with a dry cloth or paper towel, without rubbing it into the fibers. Clean the stain with a mild solution of detergent and water, using gentle, circular motions from the outside towards the center of the stain, applying the solution in thin layers. Avoid vigorous rubbing, hot water, bleach, and strong chemicals. After cleaning, allow it to dry at room temperature, without using a dryer or other heat sources. It is advisable to test on an inconspicuous part of the furniture before cleaning.
Important:
Wind is a matte fabric with a fine weave and velvety nap (Martindale test: 40,000 cycles). The uneven shading, which changes depending on the direction of the fibers and the angle of light, is a natural characteristic of the material resulting from the production process and does not constitute a defect. The appearance and texture of the material may slightly differ from the actual product due to screen settings and variations between production batches. Dimensions may vary from actual by ±4%.
