Materials: Bluvel velvet fabric, polyurethane foam with a density of 30 kg/m³, 100 g/m² wadding
Care: The upholstery should be cleaned once a week or every two weeks by gently brushing it in one direction with a soft brush or sponge. Regular brushing removes dust and dirt, raises the pile, and reduces the wear effect in the most frequently used areas. Once or twice a year, it is recommended to refresh the entire upholstery with a solution of a neutral cleaning agent, such as dish soap mixed with water. Then, the fabric should be wiped with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove the detergent and left to air dry naturally. Special upholstery cleaning products in the form of foam, shampoo, or spray can also be used according to the manufacturer's instructions. In case of liquid spills, gently blot with a dry cloth or paper towel. Residues of mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, lipstick, or other substances should be carefully collected from the surface. For stain removal, use gentle, neutral detergents, such as dish soap or gray soap, diluted in lukewarm water at a ratio of one teaspoon of the agent to two cups of water. Before starting to clean, gently vacuum the fabric and test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous part of the furniture, waiting 15 minutes. Clean the stain slowly and carefully, using circular motions from the outer edge towards the center, without vigorous rubbing. Apply the solution in thin layers and immediately remove any excess, as too much product can stiffen the upholstery. If necessary, the process can be repeated, gradually expanding the cleaned area. Finally, the area should be thoroughly wiped with a clean, damp cloth to remove the detergent and prevent streaking. Do not use strong cleaners, bleach, or hot water. After cleaning, allow the fabric to air dry at room temperature. Do not use a dryer or other direct heat sources, and do not sit on the corner until the upholstery is completely dry.
Notes: The Bluvel fabric is a silky and exceptionally soft velvet with a subtle sheen that perfectly mimics silk. The longer pile subtly changes the appearance of the surface depending on the direction of the pile and the angle of light. The material is made of 100% polyester, has a weight of 320 g/m², and a Martindale abrasion resistance of 50,000 cycles. The fabric is pet-friendly, very durable, free from PFC, has an OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, and meets the requirements of the REACH regulation. It has passed the cigarette test and meets the requirements of the PN-EN 1021-1:2014-12 standard. The appearance and texture of the material may slightly differ from the actual product due to screen settings and differences between production batches. Dimensions may vary from actual by ±4%.
