Fabric: Structural Fabric (Boston)
A structural fabric with a distinct, even weave and a matte surface. Pleasant to the touch, abrasion-resistant, and easy to maintain.
Care:
The upholstery made of structural fabric should be cleaned every 1-2 weeks using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner set to low power, equipped with a special upholstery attachment. Once or twice a year, the material can be refreshed more thoroughly. After vacuuming, the entire surface should be gently wiped with a solution of lukewarm water and neutral detergent, such as dish soap, and then with a clean, damp sponge or cloth to remove any residue. Allow the fabric to air dry naturally. A special upholstery cleaning product can also be used according to the manufacturer's instructions. In case of liquid spills, gently blot with a dry cloth or paper towel. Residues of mud, ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, or lipstick should be carefully lifted from the surface. For cleaning, dish soap or gray soap mixed with lukewarm water in a ratio of one teaspoon of detergent to two cups of water can be used. The stain should be cleaned slowly, in circular motions from the outer edge towards the center, without vigorous rubbing. If necessary, the process can be repeated, gradually expanding the cleaned area to prevent streaks. Strong cleaners, bleach, or hot water should not be used. A test should be conducted on an inconspicuous part of the furniture before applying any cleaning agent. After cleaning, allow the fabric to dry at room temperature, without using a dryer or any direct heat source. Do not use the furniture until completely dry.
Important:
The Boston fabric is an exceptionally soft and pleasant-to-touch structural material. The finely textured weave has a smooth feel reminiscent of velvet, and the irregular interweaving creates a subtle worn effect. The unevenly colored surface is a characteristic feature of the material, giving the upholstery a more pronounced appearance. The fabric is highly resistant to abrasion and durable for everyday use. The appearance and texture of the material may slightly differ from the actual product due to screen settings and differences between production batches. Dimensions may vary from actual by ±4%.
