Care Instructions
Wood: For daily care, it is recommended to remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. Regular cleaning can be done with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water, wiping the surface in the direction of the wood grain. After cleaning, immediately dry the surface with a soft, dry cloth, also following the direction of the grain. For tougher stains, use soap specifically designed for lacquered or stained wood. Avoid abrasive and aggressive cleaning agents, as they can damage the wood surface. To maintain the appearance and extend the durability of the furniture, avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture.
Rattan: For daily care, it is recommended to remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. Rattan can occasionally be wiped with a slightly damp cloth using an appropriate cleaning agent, but it is advisable to limit wet cleaning to a minimum.
In low-humidity environments, including centrally heated spaces, rattan may dry out, harden, and become more prone to cracking. To maintain its strength and flexibility, it is recommended to prepare a solution of 2-3 tablespoons of soap flakes dissolved in 1 liter of hot, demineralized water. The solution should be sprayed on both sides of the rattan and left to absorb. Excess water should be gently dried with a clean, dry cloth.

Coffee Table X HM13 Lacquered Wood
Chair X HM10 rattan seat with wooden base
Description
Chair X HM10 is one of the most distinctive designs by the Danish duo Hvidt & Mølgaard, showcasing an intriguing relationship between material, construction, and form. The designers experimented for years with the concept of a laminated wooden frame, drawing inspiration from the construction of old wooden tennis rackets. The result of these explorations was the presented in 1959 chair X HM10, characterized by its distinctive, slanted silhouette and minimalist aesthetic. Its expressive construction gives the chair a sculptural quality while maintaining visual lightness.
Reclining chair X HM10 is an example of design where an innovative approach to wood meets the timeless simplicity of Danish modernism. The dynamic lines of the frame and the low-set, slanted form lend the design a relaxed character suitable for areas intended for relaxation. Chair X HM10 can become the centerpiece of a living room, library, or cozy relaxation nook, drawing attention with its unusual construction. By combining the history of Danish design with the distinctive form, X HM10 is a chair that serves both a functional purpose and as a striking element of interior decor.
