Care instructions
Chair: for daily care, it is recommended to remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. Powder-coated steel surfaces can also be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with a mild solution of lukewarm water and a universal cleaner. Avoid using abrasive cleaners and harsh detergents, as they can permanently damage the surface. After each cleaning, immediately wipe the surface dry with a clean, dry cloth. Teak wood should be cleaned gently, avoiding aggressive agents and abrasive materials.
To help maintain and care for the teak wood product and ensure it withstands the test of time for many years to come, we recommend using a teak care kit, which can be purchased directly from &Tradition. This kit is suitable for daily maintenance, removing residues, and stains.
The impact of weather conditions may cause small cracks and highlight the grain in teak wood products, but this will not affect the overall appearance or durability. In winter, we recommend storing furniture in an unheated room. We also advise protecting teak wood from contact with water to prevent discoloration.
If you wish to preserve or enhance the original golden color of the teak wood, simply apply oil specifically designed for this type of wood to the furniture twice a year. If necessary, you can also gently sand the wood to restore its original color.
Cushions: regular cleaning is important to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the fabric and extend its durability. For daily care, it is recommended to remove dirt and loose debris using a vacuum cleaner equipped with a soft brush. The use of steam devices is not recommended, as steam can push dirt deeper into the fabric structure.
In the event of spills, act as quickly as possible. Gently blot spilled liquids with an absorbent cloth or paper towel, avoiding rubbing the stain. Then, remove loose particles and clean the stain with a sponge or a clean, damp cloth with a mild cleaning agent. Allow to air dry naturally.
For difficult-to-remove stains, it is advisable to seek professional upholstery cleaning services.
To maintain the appearance and durability of the cushions, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and placing them near sources of intense heat, as this can cause fading and weaken the fabric. Also, protect the surface from contact with sharp objects that may permanently damage the material.
