Care instructions
Bench: For daily care, it is recommended to dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Regular cleaning can be done with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water, moving it along the direction of the wood grain. Immediately after cleaning, the surface should be dried with a soft, dry cloth, again moving along the direction of the wood grain. For more intensive cleaning, use soap specifically designed for lacquered or stained wood. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh cleaning agents, as they can damage the wood surface.
To extend the aesthetic appearance and lifespan of lacquered and stained furniture, avoid exposing them to direct sunlight, excessive heat, or moisture.
Cushion: For daily care, dust the leather with a soft-bristle attachment or gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Never use cleaning agents or abrasive tools on leather, as this can damage the surface.
Cleaning leather requires caution and depends on the specific type of leather, as well as the origin of the stain.
If large areas are soiled or the surface is heavily damaged, contact a professional cleaning company. Small stains or dirt should be left untreated, as they should disappear over time.
If the leather is stained, wipe it with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth wrung out in lukewarm, demineralized water. Alternatively, try to absorb as much liquid as possible from the soaked leather using a clean paper towel. Do not clean the leather spot by spot, but rather the entire surface from seam to seam. Never scrub the leather in one spot, as this will cause discoloration and potential tearing of the material.
Leather furniture should not be exposed to direct sunlight, placed near heat sources, or stored in very dry or heavily air-conditioned environments. This can cause the leather to dry out, stiffen, and lose elasticity, which can lead to cracking.
It is important to maintain the condition of the leather to keep it optimally soft by using a leather care cream specifically formulated for leather at least four times a year. Follow the product instructions carefully, applying it from seam to seam. Wait for the product to dry before use.
